Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated may 2026.
Our Commitment
Veggy & Fruity we, believe that learning about healthy food should be joyful and accessible to every family, parent, and educator. We are committed to making our website, www.veggyfruity.com, as accessible as possible for people with disabilities, in accordance with the spirit of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the web accessibility principles applicable in Belgium.
Status & Technical Standard
We strive to align our digital content with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This internationally recognized standard helps ensure that online content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for users with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive limitations.
As our platform is hosted on Wix and currently growing, we are continuously working to improve:
-
Text Alternatives: Adding descriptive alternative text (alt-text) to our colorful character illustrations.
-
Structure: Organizing content with logical heading tags so it can be easily read by screen readers.
-
E-Commerce Flow: Making sure the product selection, shopping cart, and checkout process are as straightforward as possible.
Proportional Burden & Platform Limitations
Veggy & Fruity qualifies as a micro-enterprise under Belgian and European criteria. Due to our size and reliance on third-party web-building software (Wix) and external payment gateways, some advanced accessibility features (such as full custom keyboard-only navigation or specific color-contrast layers) may currently be limited by the software provider. We consistently monitor updates to optimize these elements wherever possible.
